VinePair is launching the world’s first ever digital drinks festival — and you’re invited! Save the date for the first annual Great Drinks Experience from June 24 to June 26, 2020.
Here at VinePair, we’re always looking for ways to bring people together. And we think the best way to do that is through learning, and of course drinking with those around us. We’ve always wanted to host a drinks festival. And though under quarantine we’re unable to bring people together physically, we’re doing the next best thing.
VinePair’s Great Drinks Experience unites drinks enthusiasts and professionals to discover and learn about some of the best sprits, wine, and beer in the world — and you can do it all from the comfort of your own home. VinePair believes that Covid-19 shouldn’t stop consumers and drinks professionals from safely connecting over a mutual love of wine, beer, and spirits. We’ll be hosting amazing online classes — free of charge — so that our readers and drinks lovers around the world can come together with glasses in hand, even while miles apart.
Those who attend will have the chance to hear Dwyane Wade’s love story with wine, take part in a rum tasting with Ten to One Rum, ask the founder of Truly Hard Seltzer all your burning questions about its flavors and cocktail possibilities, all during a virtual happy hour.
The Great Drinks Experience is geared toward trade and consumers. The trade sessions will be held during the day, while consumer sessions will occur each evening — when you’re ready to wind down after the workday with a glass of something boozy. In addition to attending the events free of charge, consumers who attend three or more sessions will receive a free VinePair T-shirt or tote bag.
“We can’t wait to virtually sip, learn, and come together over drinks with you,” says Adam Teeter, VinePair CEO and co-founder. And though we’d love to host this festival in person, this year we’ll be going big and staying home. We’ll see you there.
